Trivector Traffic is now taking the next step and changing its name to Trivector Mobility. They are originally a Lund company that works with planning and designing the sustainable transport system and have been members of Future by Lund for many years. The name change marks both what the company is today and what is most important going forward: people's ability to move freely, sustainably and in ways that create value — for the individual and for society. “The name reflects our drive to contribute to a sustainable transport system where smart and sustainable mobility creates a vibrant society and increased well-being for all generations,” says Lena Smidfelt Rosqvist, CEO of Trivector Mobility, in a press release.

Trivector does not leave the traffic perspective, but with the name change they want to make it clear that the mission extends beyond the movements of the vehicles. Traffic remains an important part — but the company highlights that mobility is about something bigger: how and why people move, what choices are made and what opportunities are created in everyday life. The mobility of the future is not just about technology, systems and infrastructure, but just as much about behaviours, experiences and quality of life.

A whole from strategy to everyday life

The Trivector Mobility name accommodates the entire chain: from walking, cycling and public transport to sharing services, digital solutions and car use. From strategic analyses to concrete changes in people's everyday lives.

“We help our customers create cities and places where people want to be, live and move. Mobility is more than traffic and transport — it is enabling,” continues Lena Smidfelt Rosqvist.

A name that holds more

The new name reflects a long-standing humanistic perspective on the transport system and a clear look towards the future. Trivector Mobility continues to work with traffic and mobility planning, behaviour change and the development of sustainable transport systems — but under a name that better describes the vision.
