Future by Lund has held its annual general meeting with 46 invited member organizations. Following the external evaluation, the board's approval, and now the general meeting's confirmation, Future by Lund is moving towards a more expertise-driven approach with a focus on innovation portfolios that can thrive in a highly competitive international environment. Going forward, special emphasis will be placed on creating supportive portfolio and ecosystem structures. Consequently, we have a new board, elected partly based on their areas of expertise, and two strategic advisors affiliated with us.

We welcome the new board to Future by Lund 5.0!

Here are our new board members:

Pia Kinhult, Collaboration and connection to material development. (Head of Host States Relations, ESS)

Kristina Eneroth, Internationalization, innovation districts, ecosystems, fourth-generation universities. (Pro Vice-Chancellor, Lund University)

Daniel Hellström: Logistics, e-commerce, mobility (Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Packaging Logistics at IKDC, LTH, and Director, Centre for Retail and Logistics (REAL), Lund University)

Renée Andersson: Sustainable manufacturing, fashion, textiles, and digitalization. (Operations Manager, YH Medborgarskolan/Tillskärarakademin Malmö)

Micael Simonsson: Biosolutions. (Founder and CTO, Dapibuset)

Lisa Thelin: Industrial technology development “Swedish Futures” (Project Manager, Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences)

Mieke Renders: Cultural and Creative Industries (Head of the Kiruna European Capital of Culture project)

Mats Pettersson: entrepreneurship, IoT, and platforms. (CTO/CPO and Co-Founder, Sensative)

We are also pleased to welcome two strategic advisors!

Bert Nordberg, Chairman of the Board at Axis Communications and Sigma Connectivity, and a board member for SAAB, among others. Bert will be Future by Lund's strategic business contact, especially for the 6G area.

Emma Frost, CEO of Fern Consulting and Chairman of Innovations District Group UK (a network of leading innovation districts in the UK). Emma will be a strategic advisor for internationalization, the development of innovation platforms, and innovation ecosystems.

We therefore look forward to a very exciting year for Future by Lund!
