Lund Innovation District now also in Madrid

The ecosystem of the Lund Innovation District is at the heart of the new publication presented during the international conference UIIN (University Industry Innovation Network) in Madrid. The presentation was made by Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth and authors of the publication are besides Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth also Jasna Pocek, Peter Kisch and Katarina Scott. At the end of May 2024, the Lund Innovation District was presented to a global audience in Madrid. This year's UIIN (University Industry Innovation Network) conference had the theme “Shaping the Future of Talent and Innovation approaches”. During the conference Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth (Lund University and Future by Lund) spoke about the ecosystem in the Lund Innovation District in the programme item “Developing an open innovation culture in Lund Innovation District”.

In May 2023, Emily Wise and Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth presented a publication on the LIEPT model, a model for following movements in an innovation ecosystem, at last year's edition of UIIN in Budapest. The Liept model has been developed by researchers at Lund University together with Future by Lund.

This year's publication builds on this work and also describes what the ecosystem looks like and the open way of working. Authors of this publication are besides Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth also Jasna Pocek, Peter Kisch and Katarina Scott. Here you will find the report
