In July 2017, for the first time representatives from Future by Lund went to Giffoni Innovation Hub and Giffoni Film FestivalThis is the start of a future collaboration. The focus of the collaboration is innovation and entrepreneurship for young people and young adults. Together they would participate in and develop projects in the fields of film, design, innovation and digitization.

In 2017, two groups of young filmmakers and entrepreneurs participated. Among other things, Future by Lund participated as a jury member and with a Dream Team challenge. Dream Team is an international gathering where young people from all over the world work across borders to transform today's challenges into tomorrow's opportunities. The goal is to solve challenges to create future jobs and sustainable growth. The young films were also part of a collaboration with Buff Filmfestival and Film i Skåne.

The Giffoni Innovation Hub is a creative venue, inspired and supported by the Giffoni Experience to design and realise strategies, formats and events in the world of cultural and digital innovation.
